There are so many options for exercise. So many options for gyms/facilities and trainers/coaches. Seems like it’s more work just getting started. Here are some tips to help you make the best choice:

  1. Write down a list. List the things you enjoy doing that keeps you active such as dancing, walking, doing push -ups. Write a list of things you do not enjoy. This method will narrow down your choices.
  2. Do your research. Research gyms or facilities that might interest you.
  3. Take a tour, get acquainted with the ambiance of the venue.
  4. Shop around. What amenities does the facility have? Is it worth the money?
  5. Do the math! Does it fit in your budget? You want to choose something that is affordable. Exercising is suppose to help you not drown you in debt.
  6. Make a schedule. Do the classes or the times of the gym, training, or class fit your schedule
  7. Commitment. Is this a place that you can commit to?
