EBF Fun & Fit workshop

ebf stretch

My Fun & fit event was held at the agape church hosted by dash/impact 21. My responsibility was to keep 1st -4th graders entertained while instilling the importance of staying fit and having fun doing it. We warmed up with an aerobic dance workout, followed by a stretching session. My aim was to maintain a good balance of dancing and playing games such as balloon relay, hula hoop relay and scavenger hunt. I also incorporated team building games as an example of mental fitness. The group and I concluded the event with a brief discussion/review on what we learned from today’s event.

I’m scheduled to do 2 additional workshops for the higher grade levels. Stay tuned for updates on the future EBF events!

DASH’s 1st experience with EBF was an action packed morning of exercise, dance, music, games, and fun. The kids and staff were entertained and engaged throughout the 2 hour workshop. Evan has never ending energy, a creative mind, and obviously loves what he does and it shows through in the workshop. DASH is looking forward to the next 2 kid workshops as well as the planning of our Fall Parent Beyond Fitness Workshop.
    Keep doing your thing Evan.
